Sorry just saw this, we have a small patio which can accommodate your dog. Not sure when your planning on coming but the weather is not to hot yet and the patio is open.
This place usually has a Wait during season but I went on a Monday night and my party and I were immediately offered a spot at the bar which was perfect. The bartender who served us our entrees was friendly and informative regarding the menu. The Vietnamese Crispy Rolls and the Spicy Okra were outstanding starters. The Panko-Crusted Chicken Stuffed Rice Ball had the best Coconut Yellow Curry sauce which led us to lick the bowl clean in embarrassment. The Caramelized Ginger Chicken was so good we ordered another To Go! Best restaurant in Palm Springs hands down.
What a great mixture of traditional and forward thinking dishes that bring out the best of what what Vietnamese can be! Their mixed drinks are also crazy delicious. No wonder why there’s always a waiting list to eat at this little restaurant.
Worth the wait. A fabulous dining experience on all levels.
Food was tasty, a tad salty but good. There was an hour wait, but chilling in the lounge with a few drinks was very nice. Would come back and try some other items on the menu.
Unbelievably great food.Ambience and service is on point. Fast and efficient without being pushy. The strip mall location just off the main drag will scare off some, they'll be sorry! Don't miss out!
There were a lot of people waiting when we arrived but the line went surprisingly fast. Well organized and efficient staff. Waiter was very pleasant and suggested a couple of items on the me u that were great as it was our first time there. Food was flavorful and well presented. Worth the wait.
If you get there after 6 be prepared to wait. That being said the wait was worth it. With the demand being as high as it is expanding a bar and appetizers into the space next door could be a good revenue stream while waiting for a table.
This place is amazing! Great food and decent prices. The vibe inside is great, although we sat on the patio and still had a similar experience. They have a separate lounge area next door where you can enjoy a cocktail before you’re seated. The skewers and black pepper tofu dish were awesome. Highly recommend!
I don't know what's better, the service or the food, really nice people, the owner is a really really nice person , the employees are the same , nice people always smiling, you can see they enjoy working in that place , food is excellent, the sous chef is a nice and lovely guy and very talented of course, I highly recommend this place you will not regret it , trust me it's hard to find places like this these days .
We love R &P. Great flavorful food, excellent service, rotating menu, and even w covid... Awesome take out. Recently had the lemongrass mussels which are amazing. The crispy chicken egg rolls to die for. The fresh rolls delicious. Go! Now! Support the during covid.
This restaurant is popular. People are already in line even before it opens. Their food is flavorful, but I wished they had more vegan options. They only had two vegan dishes according to the server. Ambience is modern and comfy. The staff is attentive and friendly. Food came in a reasonable time. I would come back here. Again, I just wished they put more vegan dishes on menu.
Great Vietnamese food at good prices. Cocktails are well balanced and strong.staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Get there early and enjoy yourself.
So I now have a new favorite spot in PS. You can probably tell by all the photos I uploaded but we ordered half the menu so I had to share with the Maps. They say its Vietnamese fusion but its all the flavors you would expect from traditional Vietnamese cuisine. The must gets are the panko crusted chicken stuffed rice bowl, shrimp and sweet potato fritter, green papaya (different, kinda sweet and sour but amazing), and sesame beef. Everything the make is pretty amazing so you really can't go wrong. The only problem is the wait can be long. We were there in the summer so it wasn't too bad but you're going to have to wait regardless.
This place is special. Excellent cocktails. Excellent food. Make reservations or get here early. Always packed.
Remarkable fusion restaurant hidden in a strip mall. Obvious care for ingredients, technique, and presentation makes for a memorable dining experience. Creative cocktails and an amuse bouche upon seating elevate any evening that includes a visit here.
Worth the hype! And the wait :/We arrived 10m before opening on a Sunday and there was already a line, buy everyone got a seat. Within the first 15m they had already filled the entire first page with more names, so I assume they all went to the attached lounge next door for a cocktail. The food was stellar! You can order a couple shared entrees for the table or just have one yourself if you're hungry – we all did. The whole sea bass, the pork bun salad, and the ginger chicken to be exact. Everyone was very pleased and the food was fresh, colorful, and rich in flavor. Obviously, since the entire restaurant filled up at once, it took a while to arrive (so an app is suggested) but there was a nice black pepper rice soup that came out almost immediately to hold us over.Parking is fine and the whole staff was very friendly. Super excited to go back next time we're in town – nothing else comes close!!
Long line but worth the wait. Great flavors, great presentation, and unique cocktails. We sat at the bar to get seated faster.
We arrive at 5:15pm to a few available tables, thereafter it was full!! The green drink tasted of 🥥and pandan. The deep fried sea bass was served with black glutinous rice, which was a little sweet and tangy. We liked the food and would come back again if we stayed more days here.
Vietnamese-American fare in a small intimate setting. Reservations not accepted and the wait can be long, but it’s worth it. Their lychee martini won’t disappoint and the congee they serve before your meal is a nice way to start off your dinner. Pleasant service. The only thing I regret is not ordering more!
Find yourself transported by the pleasure of sharing a couple of dishes from their beautifully curated menu. Every taste pairs well, order anything! They even have a non-gendered restroom!
The food is consistently fresh and yummy, workers hands out good customer service. I loved the cleanliness and atmosphere. Will come visit again.
Food was so delicious I forgot to take pictures - the spicy Sapa drink was phenomenal! We were in line when the opened at 5: in order to get a table and it was more then worth it. Everyone in line was super friendly with some newbies like us and eager repeat customers. The service was exceptional! We will be coming back as soon as we’re in Palm Springs again!
The food taste, quality, and presentation is great. Customer service is just ok. My friend said not to put cilantro on her food, and the server put it in the free congee/porridge for her. The 3-star rating is for: (1) waiting in line for 1.5 hours before we got our seat (the restaurant didn't accept reservation--I think they should, considering some visitors including me drove more than 1 hour to this restaurant), (2) while we were waiting outside to be seated, some people smoke within few feet from the building, (3) finding parking was a challenge. The experience could be better without the mentioned reasons.
Totally delicious, fresh and zingy. It's everything I wanted. Bonus free congee upon arrival which was such a delightful savoury treat. We had the butternut squash fresh rolls, the watercress and shrimp salad and finished on the black pepper tofu with rice $38 for everything. Spicy, tasty and fresh. I would highly recommend.
Very long wait for this awesome meal. Started off on page 4 of the wait list with 37 other parties ahead of us but this restaurant has a policy whereby people on the wait list need to wait there and not just write your name down and leave. When roll call is made and you are not there the host remove your name. So despite the long list we waited about 75 minutes before getting our table. The crispy roll, lemongrass meatballs and mushroom clusters were amazing as appetizers. We then had cod, black pepper tofu, pepper beef and pork belly fried rice. Really glad we added the pork belly fried rice at the end as it was the best entree for the evening. Oh and the drinks are amazing too.
What a fantastic food! The pasta is the best that i have very creamy yet cheesy and the bacon as really suits my taste. And we ordered lots of delicious food and all are eaten! If your looking for something to eat , you won't be disappointed with this place! The staff was very welcoming and friendly!
Not only the best food we had while in Palm Springs this week but probably some of the best Asian food we’ve had in California all year. Very friendly staff who managed the wait for our party of four and small dog with smiles on their faces. Good prices and great atmosphere topped off a superb visit.
Delicious food, unlike other restaurants in PS. We got there just as they opened and were very lucky to get a table, HUGE queue as we left. Quite pricey but would return and recommend to others.
Unusual and delicious meal. Order the papaya dish - it was fantastic. Also the crispy pork lemongrass. Service was excellent. Had to wait about 10 minutes, that was around 8 o’clock. Highly recommend.
WOW! Amazing flavors, I ate every bite! Vietnamese food like I have never had in the USA, very creative, and expert flavor combinations and cooking technique. I can't wait to try everything else on the menu.
Amazing execution. Super fresh ingredients. The complementary congee was one of the best I’ve ever had and I’ve been eating it all my life. The sea bass was delicious and moist. The mushroom appetizer was a great start.
Everything here was amazing! Came here closer to closing on a Sat night and had to wait about 40 min for a table of 5. We ordered a good amount of food and not a single dish was bad. The dishes for the most part aren't things you'd find at a typical Vietnamese restaurant like pho though they do have vermicelli and spring roll dishes. Everything is extremely flavorful from the simple spring rolls to the beef stew dish and the salads. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.
Absolutely my most favorite place to eat in Palm Springs! You’re welcomed with rice porridge + friendly smiles all around. The food is flavorful and meant to be served family-style, so order accordingly. Usually there’s a bit of a wait (no reservations) so just grab a cocktail at the bar and wait it out. It’ll be worth it.
This is the kind of place you hope to find while traveling. Delicious food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. I recommend the fried mushrooms. There is a line so get in early.
Average at best - sweet and salty. The service was excellent but the food didn’t bit the hype folks told me about this joint.
I do not enjoy my meal. It is mediocre at best.I ordered Green lantern cocktail: speechless pepper beef w/fennel: very stiff, can’t chew and very salty.Jasmine tea leaf, tangy napa cabbage, medley of seeds and peanuts.: has some good flavor but extremely salty.
Consistently great food! Everything is so fresh. Menu is updated often. Great cocktails that are original and very good. This has become one of my favorite places to visit. I recommend it to all my friends. I work in hospitality and also recommend this place to all of our guests looking for great fresh and healthy options. You won't be disappointed.
Delicious! Best food! Everyone needs to try it! The “share” portions are a little small because it’s so good you can eat the whole dish. Great staff!
Great little restaurant with fresh and creative cuisine. Arrived at 5:30 pm & wait was about 20 minutes for a table. Well worth it for complimentary savory soup, crispy whole snapper with forbidden rice, fish fresh off the boat with amazingly sweet yet light sauce, and a huge shredded chicken salad. Mango shrimp spring rolls were excellent as well. We spent about 1.5 hrs at our table; service polite and friendly. The place is busy so it's not too speedy, but the meal was delicious!
Amazing food and fantastic service! I will definitely be going back when I'm in Palm Springs. Make sure you go early though because it gets very lined up around 7pm.
We had dinner here tonight while visiting Palm Springs and it was delicious. Easy uncomplicated menu, fresh and exciting options for most palates. Staff were super friendly and service was fast. The pork belly was very salty and we didn’t eat much of it otherwise would be 5 stars. A must go to for the area.
Wonderful food and service. Reasonable priced. Highly recommend.
Superb Vietnamese cuisine with a friendly staffand well priced menus. R&P has a rotating menuof handcrafted cocktails.
Delicious food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. The deep fried mushroom is a must try. There was a long line but worth the wait.
The best Vietnamese food I’ve had in a very long time and hands down the best meal we had in Palm Springs the week we were there. Worth the mild wait (for which you can have a drink and sit on their patio). Super well thought out dishes and prepared perfectly. We had the four vegetarian dishes on the menu and it was just right for two people. Will happily return next time we’re in Palm Springs.
Guy working at the front was extremely rude and treats potential patrons with very little respect. It really ruined our experience. Thankfully Palm Springs has plenty of other options where you can get great service. Avoid this place.
Amazing! The crispy mushrooms especially! Foodie paradise in the desert
My favorite vietnamese resturant. Everything is fantastic! No reservations so you have to get there early or wait on the list. It is really popular so the wait can be long. Worth it though!
Such a great Vietnamese restaurant. Maybe it has some fusion, but I don't see it. I just see some Vietnamese dishes perfectly executed. The flavors and textures are rich and diverse. You have to know what you are getting into thaugh, you need to order multiple dishes and share, not just one per guest, you would be disappointed. Loved it, we'll come back!
This has a well studied approach to attracting its customers whom they figured out would be willing to line up prior to dinner time to get a table. We did line up, and I can't recall what exactly I had but it was a pleasant dining experience with my friend. They even gave me dessert for free, which I recall now is ube or purple yam from the Philippines.
